JOURNEY OF OBJECTS

A history of our journey in 33 objects, each attached
to a story and a place. Reflecting on the fluidity of
meaning placed on objects, viewers were invited to
take a piece from an archive of the places and stories
collected from travel.
These fragments of identity were put on display in
between past and future, and mediated by a new
idea of exchange. By “selling” “bartering” “taking”
or “sharing” we are consciously connecting with the
potential and the history of the objects. We want
to lose it, to exchange it, because losing it means
loosening our ties to those artefacts while passing
on the legacy of this collection.
